If you plan ahead it can actually pay off

I have found from my research into weight loss, what can help people reach their goal weight. The answer is lists and thinking ahead. Some people will do things as they come up and do things as they need doing. The thing is that without a specific plan , we become vunerable to our environment and what plans other people have. It doesn’t matter how appealing our goal weight is, we are heading in that direction without really knowing how long it will take us to get there.
As I have mentioned previously my milestone and goal weight loss is a loss of 40kg. I need to keep on top of my progress as much as possible and I also need to be accountable, I have found that this blog has helped me do that. The thing is I don’t know how long it will take me to get there. So in the mean time what I can do is come up with some mini goals along the way, this is my list, this helps to break it down and the end result does not end up seeming so hard to attain. My first goal as I previously have mentioned is 10% my body weight, but I have slipped in a mini goal, before I lose my first 10% I want to lost my first 5kg, once achieved I will celebrate. Celebrating helps you recognise you achieved something.
It helps you realise you have been successful in something.
We celebrate birthdays all the time, is it because we are celebrating the fact that we have lived another year? Well yes it is, we have lived another year and we are a year older, I think that is worth celebrating, I think getting a new job is worth celebrating, getting the car you always wanted to own is worth celebrating, there are so many things that we do and achieve that we should be celebrating. Why do we limit ourselves to only celebrate some things? If we didn’t celebrate how would we know we actually achieved something? If we didn’t celebrate it would be like every other day?
What could you celebrate today?
What sort of things could go on your list?
